Elaine Williams.        Award Winning Teddy Bear Artist.

Elaine  lives with her husband John  in Narooma.  NSW  Australia, moving from Western Australia in 2006.

Her  background in hairdressing was a natural outlet for her creativity ,  after years of breeding and showing alpacas at their  own stud  in Denmark Western Australia she so loved the long superbly soft fleece  (even her Shitzu dogs  had long fur)  that  she  decided to try her hand at recycling her Vintage fur coat into a Teddy Bear.  Instantly hooked  by the “Teddy Bear Hug Bug”,   her  art and craft hobbies,  water colours, oils, decorative art, spinning, patchwork, pottery etc    were  relegated  to the “back burner”.

She has since  discovered the joy of creating her own range of  unique Collector  Bears.

In 2009 she entered  her  first competition,  The Australian Bear  Creations Magazine Awards,  in which  her     “Felicity”  was a finalist in her  category.   Since then she has  won a number of  rosettes, ribbons and awards which  has  encouraged her in her endeavours.  Especially a “People’s Choice ” Teddy Bear of the Show Award.   She  loves to design and create bears with special attention to detail,  quality and originality.

Elaine’s  bears are usually one of a kind  or Limited Editions.
